تزامنا مع الحملة الأمنية التي تنتهجها السلطات البحرينية 09 سبتمبر 2010 يعبّر مركز البحرين لحقوق الإنسان عن قلقه الشديد إزاء تمادي السلطة في سياسة تقييد حرية الرأي والتعبير وفرض المزيد من القيود على تقنيات النشر المعلوماتية ووسائل التعبير المختلفة، والذي برز مؤخرًا في قرار هيئة شؤون الإعلام بتوقيف خدمة التقارير الصوتية التي تنشرها صحيفة الوسط اليومية على موقعها الإلكتروني. فقد نشرت صحيفة الوسط البحرينية في 16 أغسطس نبأ تسلّمها خطاباً من هيئة شئون الإعلام تطالبه بإيقاف بثها لخدمة التقارير الصوتية وهي الخدمة الصحفية الجديدة التي توفرها صحيفة الوسط لقرائها. يذكر بأنه هذه خدمة مرخصة منذ 2009 إلا أن إيقافها جاء ...
